Clean Technology Innovation (CTI) Project Development Stream:

The Clean Technology Innovation (CTI) Project Development Stream in NSW is now open for applications. This initiative aims to expedite funding for the technical and commercial viability studies of projects or products that align with NSW's decarbonisation goals. Eligible applicants, including universities, startups, and researchers, can receive up to $250,000. Projects must be completed within 12 months and demonstrate significant potential to reduce emissions. This grant supports accelerating and commercialising scalable, low-emissions technologies, positioning NSW as a leader in clean technology innovation. Applications close: 3rd May 2024 5:00 pm.

Growing Future Tourism:

Queensland's tourism sector is set to benefit from the Growing Future Tourism program, which offers $30 million in funding. This program targets tourism operators, not-for-profits, and local governments to create or enhance tourism infrastructure and experiences. Focus areas include coastal, marine, heritage, cultural, ecotourism, and sustainability. Funding ranges from $1 to $4 million on a matched contribution basis, aligning with government tourism priorities. Eligible projects include marine tourism facilities, accommodation, digital enhancements, and ecotourism initiatives. The application process involves an Expression of Interest followed by a Full Business Case for selected applicants. Applications close 29th April 2024.

Climate-Smart Agriculture Program – Small Grants Round 1:

The Australian Government's Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry offers grants to support small-scale projects promoting sustainable agricultural practices. These projects aim to enhance knowledge, skills, and the adoption of climate-smart practices at the grassroots level, boosting sustainable productivity and resilience to climate change. Applications close 4th June 2024 9:00pm.

Grants of up to EMDG Reimbursements: 2023-24 Claims  

Exciting opportunities await businesses eligible for the Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) as the portal has officially opened for claiming reimbursements for international marketing expenses incurred during the 2023-24 fiscal year. The EMDG remains a crucial government initiative, supporting businesses in their export ventures substantially and helping them grow their international presence.  

With the portal closing on June 30 2024, businesses must complete all eligible expenditures before this date. This ensures that the team at Grant Help can thoroughly prepare and refine client reports, maximising the chances of funding success.
