Grant Help focuses on assisting their clients in achieving their financial ambitions. This means our consultants often go above and beyond to ensure our clients receive any and all funding opportunities.
A recent client was hoping to export and launch their software in the USA after interest from large scale clients. Their efforts were directly hindered due to distance, time zone differences and travel restrictions. While developing their export market would see large returns, the initial cost for expansion was incredibly high. Research demonstrated that infiltration into this market would require overseas representation, establishment of international offices and a revised marketing campaign.
The client engaged Grant Help to assist with sourcing funding to support their business goals. The business is a female-founded and female-led Australian software development company, which our consultants instantly recognised would be eligible for the Boosting Female Founders Initiative. This saw the client’s investment of $400,000 matched through the grant, boosting their budget for international expansion be raised to $800,000.
While this increase was a considerable achievement for the company, Grant Help recognised that their ambitions extended beyond this budget. Further investigation by our consultants discovered that expansion of the business into the state of Colorado could provide further grant opportunities. Research, advice and reports provided by Grant Help assisted the client in receiving a further $341,000 in funding from the Colorado Government’s Advanced Industries Incentive, bringing their total project budget to $1.14 million.
The success of the grant saw the company establish an office in Colorado and hire a number US based staff. Various marketing and online advertising campaigns were effectively undertaken, allowing the company to build strategic partnerships that will assist in further international development. As a result of Grant Help’s work, the growing business is now on the pathway to achieving $1million Annual Recurring Revenue by 2024.
Without the dedicated work of our consultants, the company’s ability to expand into the US market may never have been achieved. Intensive research allowed Grant Help to realise multiple funding pathways for the company to access their funding potentials. Our experienced staff are able to use critical thinking and innovative methods to go beyond the expectations of what most government grant consultancies offer.
